Everything that lies in the future has yet to be experienced, and the past lives only in memory. Yes, of course. Blah blah blah.

But wait: do you really know that?

Are you clearly aware of it at the moment of the experience? I’m experiencing it now? This moment. He’s here now. I’m here.

The view over the mountains, the house in Tuscany, the sunset at the sea, the child’s smile when he is happy. moments. I know it is now.

Great moments that you experience will pass again. Set an example for them as you experience them. Give these moments special attention.
It is now. Now I’m experiencing it, and it’s great.

But be careful: it’s not just the beautiful moments that demand your attention.
Knowing that you live in some solar system, somewhere far out there, on the edge of some galaxy. Knowing you are alive and you are there. Now.

Give your whole life this attention. Every moment, always, you are a part of it.

This is my religion. This is my Church of Blink. I made it just for myself and I am its only member. I don’t need others.

Natürlich ist es eine Binsenweisheit zu wissen: Es passiert jetzt.

Alles, was in der Zukunft liegt, muss noch erlebt werden, und die Vergangenheit lebt nur noch in Erinnerung. Ja klar. Bla bla blaa.

Doch halt: Weißt Du das wirklich?

Bist Du Dir im Moment des Erlebnisses auch ganz klar darüber bewusst. Ich erlebe es jetzt? Dieser Moment. Er ist jetzt da. Ich bin da.

Der Blick über die Berge, das Haus in der Toskana, der Sonnenuntergang am Meer, das Lächeln des Kindes, wenn es sich freut. Momente. Ich weiß, es ist jetzt.

Großartige Momente, die Du erlebst, gehen wieder vorbei. Setze ihnen ein Zeichen, während Du sie erlebst. Gib diesen Momenten eine besondere Aufmerksamkeit.
Es ist jetzt. Jetzt erlebe ich es, und es ist großartig.

Doch Achtung: Es sind nicht nur die schönen Momente, die eine Aufmerksamkeit von Dir einfordern.
Zu wissen, Du lebst in irgendeinem Sonnensystem, irgendwo, ganz weit draußen, am Rande irgendeiner Galaxie. Zu wissen, Du lebst und Du bist dabei. Jetzt.

Gib Deinem ganzen Leben diese Aufmerksamkeit. Jeden Moment, Immer, Du bist ein Teil davon.

Das ist meine Religion. Das ist mein „Church of Blink“. Ich habe sie nur für mich selbst gemacht, und ich bin mein einziges Mitglied. Andere brauche ich nicht.
